He that covereth a transgression seeketh love; but he that repeateth a matter separateth very (the best of) friends – Proverbs 17:9
To cover someone’s transgression is to conceal the matters with others. To cover is to forgive someone who hurt you, it’s not denying what they did or said, but you forgive them, and you no longer bring it up when there is a disagreement. It’s hard to forget when you have been wrong, but you can forgive, and the words or actions will no longer be like a recorder playing in your mind and emotions.

Wealth
The rich man’s wealth is his strong city, and as a high wall in his own conceit (esteem) – Proverbs 18:11
There is nothing wrong with being rich, the Bible instructs those who are rich to do good, by giving and sharing with those who are in financial despair. The problem is the majority of those who are rich place their trust in their riches rather than placing their trust in the God who enabled them to get rich.

Self Control
He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city – Proverbs 16:32
Usually people who can control their anger is called a push-over or a passive person. It takes more energy to control ones tongue, and emotions rather than saying what’s on their mind and emotions. Self control is superior to conquest. Losing control may cause you to forfeit what you want the most. It can also cause you to be sorry for words spoken that you can’t take back. Read More
