But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold. My foot hath held his steps, his way have I kept, and not declined – Job 23:10-11.
In this Christian life we will go through many trials and tribulations, but whatever we go through, we must always keep in mind, that God has an all seeing eye. There is nothing we have been through or going through that He isn’t aware of. God doesn’t allow tribulations to come into our lives to hurt us, but to assist us in our spiritual growth. In the natural, if a baby doesn’t grow it’s usually because of some type of birth defect. We can have spiritual defects because were not seeking the things of God as we should.
We can’t pray an expect our faith to grow neither can we not read the Word of God and know what we should and shouldn’t do as children of God. God doesn’t want us to stay spiritual babies, but to grow into maturity so He allows our faith to be tested. He doesn’t test us, but He will allow Satan and people to make what’s in us come forth. God will never leave you nor forsake you, this is a promise we can stand on every time we maybe going through something that is difficult for us. We don’t deny what we’re going through, but we don’t allow what we’re going through to become our god. Whatever you stay focus on will become greater to you than the God you serve.
Job was a man that truly loved God and submitted himself to God’s commandments. He didn’t try to reason with God; he just submitted his life to serving God the way God had instructed him to live as a believer. His submissio didn’t stop Satan’s attack. A matter of fact the more you purpose to please God the more Satan will attack. True Christanity does not include being exempt from Satan or his co-host. Just as Jesus was an adversary to Satan so are you if you have totally subitted yourself to God’s written Word.
As a true believer, you’re a threat to Satan and his kingdom. Satan is the god of this world (But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost, in whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorius gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them – 2nd Corinthians 4:4). The god of this world is Satan; on Satan’s control of the world system, he effectively shields the unbeliever from accepting the truth of the gospel, he also blinds the understanding of those who profess to be Christians but yet live according to Satan’s influences.
Don’t fear or fret when you come under attack, seek the hand and face of God through prayer, fasting, and focusing on the Word of God. Find Scriptures that pertain to your circumstances, get His Word embedded in your heart and spirit. Ask God for directions and instructions in how to fight. We don’t fight physically with Satan or whoever he places to be his enforcer. You’re dealing with a spirit not a human therefore you must fight spiritually. You fight with God’s written Word and faith.
Job never accused God nor did he lose faith. He had a relationship with God, he knew what God would or wouldn’t do. While his friends were accusing him of sin, Job was focusing on God and His Word. Job had faith in God and not what he was going through or what his friends were labeling him. When you’re going through a difficulty situation, get with people you know will pray with you and not accuse you. Although you’re in a battle, you’re not alone in the battle. The Father is with you, He’s for you and not against you. Place your faith in God and His Word.

Spiritual Jew
But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God (Romans 2:28-29) To be a Jew meant you were in God’s family, an heir to all His promises. The Jews was God’s chosen and all other nationalities were considered as Gentiles (uncircumcised), but Jesus came and adopted us into the family of God, circumcising our hearts. God’s desire for His people is to be circumcised in our hearts and not the outward appearance or religious acts. To be in the family of God means more than attending church, working in different auxiliaries, but there must be a spiritual change in our spirit and in our hearts. Jesus, the Son of God comes and resides in our hearts and makes us spiritual Jews. As Christians we’re adopted in the family of God through Jesus our Savior. Every promise that has been written in God’s Word is for every Christian that has submitted themselves to God and His Son. What we need is in God’s Word, every Word of God is true, what He promised that He will do. In order for us to be receivers of the blessings, we must submit ourselves to the Word of God. The majority of the people you would ask if they are Christians would say yes, but still practice sin on a daily basis. We must be transformed in our spirit and in our hearts. There should be a difference from a Christian and an unbeliever, Christians don’t watch and participate in things that would bring a approach to their spirit or their belief. Christians should be Christ-like; we should be aware of the Spirit of God indwelling our human spirit, reverencing Him in what we say and what we do. When the Spirit of Christ is dwelling within our being, we don’t have the same desires we had when we were unbelievers. Our thinking changes, our behavior changes, our desires is to please our Father and not ourselves. We’re aware of how we conduct ourselves because we don’t want to be a hinderance to a new believer as well as the unbeliever’s faith in God. In order for us to see the move of God in us and in our churches, we as Christians must step it up in our dedication to God. Just as faithful as the Jews are to God, we must be just as faithful to the Father and the Son because you can’t accept God and reject the Son, and you can’t have the Son and reject the Father they are a team, they are one, but function in different roles. It was holiness from the beginning and God is still requiring holiness. We have been bought with a price, Jesus died for our sins, it would be senseless for Him to die for our sins if we were to continue in sin; that was the reason He died so that we could be reconcile to the Father; to live a life that would be pleasing in His sight. (But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, peculiar people, that ye should show for the praises of Him who hath called you out of darkness into His marvelous light – 1st Peter 2:9).

Don’t Doubt
If a man die, shall he live again? All the days of my appointed (hard) time will I wait, till my change come (Job 14:14) Job was man that loved God and feared Him; according to the Word of God, God looked upon Job as His servant and God allowed Satan to afflict Job. Job lost his children, property, wealth and then Satan attacked his body with boils from the crown his head to the sole of his feet. One might say as his friends did that Job had sinned, but Job hadn’t sinned his faith was being tested. As Christians our faith will be tested, you may loose friends, be rejected of family and co-workers, you may lose more than just people, but will you wait for God to deliver you? Many times when we’re going through hard times, that’s when we slack up praying, fasting and reading the Bible, decreeing scriptures. Our attendance at church is shorten, our witnessing stop. we back up in a corner and allow Satan to fill our heads with doubt and unbelief that God will not deliver us. Hard times is when we must draw even closer to God, hard times should bring about an increase of fasting. praying and reading the Bible and decreeing to our circumstance what God is saying in His Word. As we draw near to God, He will draw near to us.
