When Things Aren’t Good, God Is With You

For the Lord thy God is a merciful God; He will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which He sware unto them – Deuteronomy 4:31).

Christians go through tests, trials, disappointments, and loneliness as they walk to the Promise Land (Heaven). As we go through these difficulties, it does not mean God is not with us. He’s closer to you when you’re going through it than when you’re in a state of peace.

God Wants You Saved And Sanctified

God wants His people to be saved, but He also wants them to be sanctified. Sanctification is not a denomination, but it’s a lifestyle for all those that are professing to be Christians.

Repentance

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost – Acts 2:38.

In order for one to receive salvation, they must first repent of their sins. Repent means to be sorry for how one has lived their life opposite of the teaching of Christ. In their repentance, they will now live their lives according to the teaching of the Bible, which is God’s written instructions for the believer.
