And, behold, I come quickly; and My reward is with Me, to give every man according as his work shall be – Revelation 22:12.

No one knows the day or hour when Jesus will return, but He’s returning for His church, and He’s coming for a church without a wrinkle or blemish. Many who profess to be Christians are living like the world; they give their praises to men and women whom they idolize.

Christians have been instructed not to serve any other gods, yet they do so by idolizing other humans. They idolize actors, entertainers, themselves, spouses, and children. When we love something or someone more than we love God, we have made that thing or person an idol.

When the children of Israel were brought out of Egypt, they were instructed not to serve the gods that their neighbors were serving (For thou shalt worship no other god: for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God – Exodus 34:14). God gave the instructions to Moses, and Moses gave the instructions to the children of Israel. Jesus said (He that loveth father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me – Matthew 10:37). To receive the blessings of the Lord, we must submit ourselves to His instructions.

God gave us His written Word to follow in our daily lives. We can’t live like our neighbors who are serving other gods. We can’t put people before Him and think He’s satisfied with our lifestyle. If we can follow the instructions of our employer, doctor, or counselor, why can’t we follow the instructions of the giver of life?

Many of God’s people are so hung up on making money or getting money that they have forgotten their priorities. Jesus said, but seek ye first the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added until you.

Now, Satan can bless you, too; that’s why you see actors, entertainers, millionaires, and billionaires without God in their thoughts or lives. When the Lord blesses you, He addeth no sorry with it. Satan blesses you, and then he torments you with what he’s given you. There’s nothing wrong with having money, but when you love money, it becomes evil.

Some have placed their education and their jobs as their gods. They will do anything it takes to receive a degree or promotion, but they will not worship and serve the God that enabled them to get the degree to get that promotion. When we live lives that are devotedly and sacrificially unto God, we become joint heirs with Christ, meaning everything that belongs to Christ belongs to us through the Cross, which was done for us.

Professing Christians listen to secular music and attend secular concerts; who do you think you’re praising when you praise the entertainers? People in the concerts act like Christians when they attend church, with their hands raised or clapping their hands, hollering, and shouting. Entertainers and people attending secular concerts aren’t praising God in their worship of music and lyrics.

Satan influences; there is nothing wrong with listening to secular music. You know he was the praise leader in heaven before his rebellion and was thrown out of heaven? Secular music is not worshipping God but Satan. This is why Christians have been instructed to separate themselves from the world (Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you – 2nd Corinthians 6:17). God has given His people standards to live by; it not about what you think, it’s about what His Word instructs us to do as Christians.

It’s time to get right church and be prepared to go with the Lord when He returns or when death knocks at the door of your house. Whatever state Jesus finds you in, or death finds you in, that’s where you will spend eternity.

With everything that is happening in the world, it has been prophesied in the Bible; know the Bible so you will be aware of what’s happening! The earth is in moaning; the atmosphere is preparing for the coming of the Lord; it’s not a climate change. The death angel is walking the earth. He is showing wonders in the heaven (And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke – Joel 2:30).

There are wars and rumors of wars (And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet – Matthews 24:6). It’s not time to want to listen to bless me messages and exhort me messages. You need messages telling you the truth about getting your soul ready to meet your Maker!

Jesus died for the entire body to be presented to Him as a living sacrifice (I Beseech, you, therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service – Romans 12:1). The Apostle Paul prayed for Christians to be preserved blameless (And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ – 1st Thessalonians 5:23).

Spend time in prayer, reading, and studying God’s Word. Apply what you read to your life. Attend a church where you can grow spiritually and be taught the Word of God. Fast to bring your body subject to the Word of God and make it sensitive to the Spirit of God.

Jesus is coming, and He’s returning for His church. We must be living a godly lifestyle if we want to return with Him to live with Him and the Father for eternity.
