Hell Is Real
Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it – Isaiah 5:14
Throughout the Bible hell is mentioned for those who reject the Son of God and for those who profess to be a Christian, but live as a hypocrite. Many believe that since God loves us so much, He wouldn’t send anyone to hell to be tormented.
God has left us His written word for us to read, study and follow the instructions. It’s not God’s desire for anyone to perish, but He will not force anyone to accept His salvation. The reason Jesus came to earth was to reconcile us back to the Father. If we could continue to live a life of practicing sin, then His abuse and death we’re in vain. Jesus came to give the believer power to become sons of God (But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name – John 1:12).
He gave us the power we need to live godly by us accepting His gift of the Holy Spirit. We can’t live godly on own power, but the Holy Spirit indwelling in us, helps assist us to communicate with the Father. He assists us to live godly and give us a desire to do whatever it takes to please the Father. The Fruit and the Gifts of the Spirit comes through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. As Christians, its our responsibility to present ourselves as a living sacrifice. Attending church, but living according to the world standards will make us candidates for hell. Hell is a place where the spirit never dies. It’s a place where our senses is very much aware of the torment. It’s a place where there will be no opportunity to repent for our sins.
The Bible is our instructions for entering heaven and a detour from hell.
