Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire when ye pray, believe that ye received them, and ye shall have them – Mark 11:24
So many times Christians pray, but either they will believe God didn’t hear the prayer or God is not going to answer the prayer. Faith can either be positive or negative whichever one we believe in, will be the one that will manifest whether it’s believing in faith or believing by doubt.
Jesus instructed His followers to believe what they prayed for, but many times we lose faith because it wasn’t answered in the time we felt it should have been answered. The reason why some prayers haven’t been answered is because, it’s not the time to receive it, we’re asking in doubt or it’s something that will be detrimental to us physically, spiritually, mentally, emotionally and financially.
God has our best interest at heart, He knows what we have need of and what we have a desire to have. Both of these have been given a promise. Ask, believe and you shall receive. The other one is delight thyself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart. God nor Jesus would never instruct us to do something and they will not fulfill their promise. When the prayer hasn’t been answered, confront God, He wants us to ask questions, but we must come with reverence and humility. God doesn’t give us what we deserve, if He did, we all would be died.
God never gives us a promise and then forfeit the promise even when we have sinned against Him. Sin will keep the promise from being answered sooner, but if we have lived according to the principals of God, know that your prayer will be answered. In your waiting, your faith will increase, your patience will increase, knowledge of God will increase, prayer and fasting will increase. Whenever you pray, look at the word of God for the promises of God and not the timing!
