And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of a mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine (mulberry) tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea, and it should be obey you – Luke 17:6
Mustard is a plant cultivated in both gardens and fields for its seeds; grounded for spice; and the seeds also produce oil. The mustard seed is the smallest seed of plants. Faith is like a mustard seed, it doesn’t begin big, but as it is cultivated with the word of God, trials and tribulations, it will grow to move the hand of God, and remove doubt and fear.
Faith is something we can’t see, but it’s the realizations of things hoped for. Faith is something we can’t see, but we can see it and feel it with our spirit. Sometimes, it’s something you can’t explain, but you know you will receive it or see it come to manifestation. It’s the substance that pleases God. God is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. Diligently indicating we will not allow anything or anyone from keeping us from doing what is righteous in the eyes of God. It means when our prayer hasn’t been answered, we will continue to pray until we receive the answers to our prayers. Consistent prayer doesn’t means we’re trying to force God, but it’s faith in action, no matter how long it takes, we’re willing to wait, we’re willing to do whatever God will have us to do to receive the answer to our prayer.
