Unity

It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord; and when thy lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised the Lord, saying, For He is good, for His mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord. So that the priest could not stand (continue) to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God – 2nd Chronicles 5:13-14.

Solomon, and the elders of Israel, had done what they could to grace the solemnity of the introduction of the ark; but God, by testifying His acceptance of what they did, put the greatest honor upon it. The cloud of glory that filled the house beautified it more than all the gold with which it was overlaid or the precious stones it was garnished.

The first service at the Temple began with honoring God and acknowledging His presence and goodness. Asaph, Heman and Jeduthun were the heads of the division of Levitical musicians. Altogether there were more than one hundred twenty priest, they probably were a select group of instrumentalists. They came together in one accord with instruments as singing as one. They praised God until His glory came into the tabernacle. His glory was so powerful until the priest couldn’t minister, they stood, and allowed God to move among them.

God hasn’t changed. When we as the people of God begin to gather in unison, releasing offences, repenting of our sins, praising God until we get out of ourselves, and praise Him until our hearts and souls begin to praise Him in spirit and in truth, the glory cloud will enter the church. His presence will be made known that He’s in the house. When the Spirit of the Lord enters, the atmosphere changes. You will see people lifting up their hands in praise without the worship leader instructing them to praise. You will see people crying tears of joy. You will see people running and jumping for joy. You will see people coming to the altar without an altar call. People will be healed and delivered from torment, diseases, sickness, emotional problems, mental disorders, and marriage problems.

When the Spirit of the Lord enters, He make changes, He anoints and appoints. He destroys and establishes. You can feel His presence, and you will desire to kneel at His feet. Tears of joy will flood the hearts and souls. He will give peace to a troubled mind. He will give directions and instructions, heal the broken heart, and make whole a broken spirit. The glory cloud is real, the manifestation of the Spirit of God is real, and He’s waiting for us to allow the glory of the Lord to enter our sanctuaries.

Sincere praise and worship will also welcome His entrance into our homes. All He wants is someone to worship Him in spirit and in truth!
