God’s Thoughts

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts (Isaiah 55:8:9).

People are foolish to think they know what God is thinking and His planning. His knowledge and wisdom are far greater than men. God doesn’t pick and choose who He will love or provide for as men.  God will accept everyone who will accept Him as their God while if it was in the hand of man; you would have to be of a certain nationality, financial status, educational background, living in a certain neighborhood, driving a certain make of car to be accepted, but with God, He accepts you as you are. You don’t have to jump over barrels and do hoops, say a certain amount of prayers a day, sustain from certain foods,  but to be accepted by man, well that’s a different story.

Our thoughts cannot fathom the awesomeness of God. Too many times we look to man to solve our problem when we should be looking to God, the one that will hear and then can do something about what He hears. As Christians, we go through many trials and tribulations, and sometimes we say within ourselves “Where is God in all this”. If you’re a child of God, He’s in it to bring you to an exit of your situation, He’s in it to bring your faith to another level, He’s in it to make you a vessel of prayer and fasting. He’s in it to stretch your faith, He’s in it to make you a vessel of honor.

The God we serve is all knowing. He’s the God that can create and destroy. He is to be reverenced and praised through the good and the bad times. He’s the God that can speak a Word and everything must come subject to His Word. No one knows everything about God, if they did, they would be like God and He has already spoken there is no other God besides Him. Keep the Word of God in your thoughts and the rest of your being will follow after the Word of God.

He’s the God that declared He would place in His people one heart, and that He would put a new spirit within us. He’s the God that takes the heart of stone and makes it a heart of flesh. He’s the God that gives new life, He’s the God that loves us unconditional. God is not like man, neither is man like God unless He places His Spirit in man and makes Him the son of God.
