Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them – Mark 11:24.
When we pray according to God’s will, we have made His will become our will. God’s Word is His will, this is why it is so important to know the Word of God; if its never read or studied, how would one know how to pray according to His will? God’s will is for no one to perish, so when we pray for people’s salvation, He will hear the prayer and answer the prayer. Sometimes the prayer will be delayed, but it will not be denied.Coming into an agreement with God’s Word is beneficial, it moves the hand of God in our circumstance. Sometimes we pray against the will of God not knowing that we’re praying against it. Sometimes trials and tribulations can be over-bearing and we wonder “How is this going to work together for my good”. No matter what we’re going through, we can do like Jesus and ask God to remove the cup, the cup of hurt, the cup of persecution, the cup of being rejected, whatever the cup maybe, we can ask for it to be removed, but our last words should be, not my will, but Your will be done.
When we pray, we must believe that God hears our prayers, and not only will He hear them, but will answer them. The prayer has already been answered, because God knows what we have need of before we pray, the prayer is to help us to connect with God through communication. God’s Word promises, He shall supply all of our needs, so if its a need, He shall provide (But my God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus – Philippians 4:19). You may be in a battle naturally and spiritually and need deliverance from your enemies (Plead my cause. O Lord, with them that strive (contend) with me: fight against them that fight against me – Psalm 35:1).
As a child of God, blood bought by the precious blood of Jesus, you are a citizen of the Kingdom, the ruler of the Kingdom is God. The King’s duty is to protect, provide, and fight for the cause of His people. All the people of the Kingdom have to do is to go to their King for help, and they do that by a prayer asking the King which is their Father for what they have need of. Need favor on your job or in the courtroom (The king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will – Proverbs 21:1). The king’s heart is like a stream of water directed by the Lord; He turns it wherever He pleases. Live according to the Word of God, pray according to the Word of God and He will answer your prayer. If it’s a desire, then we must delight ourselves in Him and then will He give us the desires of our heart (Delight thyself also in the Lord; and He shall give thee the desires of thine heart – Psalm 37:4). Believe His Word, and you shall receive what His word says!
Don’t allow the Adversary which is Satan to influence you that God does not hear and answer prayers. God is still sitting on His throne, and all of your enemies including Satan must come subject to God and His Word. You can’t fight people or spirits physically, but you can pray the Word of God and it will fight for you!
