A Cry for Help

Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness: thou hast enlarged me when I was in distress; have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer – Psalm 4:1.

It’s such a blessing that we can go to God anytime of the day or night to pray. We don’t have to do different rituals for our prayers to be heard. We don’t have to pray by a guideline or sit, lay, stand or kneel in a certain position. All we have to do is believe that God is God and He’s the God that answers prayers.

As we come to You, we come in the name of Your precious Son Jesus, asking that You would forgive us of any sins we may have committed against You or Your people. Help us not to walk in the counsel of the ungodly. Help us to meditate on Your Word and Your principals.

My voice You shall hear in the morning, in the morning will I direct my prayer to You, and will look towards You for my help. O Lord my God, in thee do I put my trust, deliver me from those that persecute me. My defense is in You, and You deliver the righteous.

Preserve me, O God, for in thee do I put my trust, hear my prayer and be attentive to my cry. Give me peace of mind when the storms of life is raging. Strengthen my faith when I’m surrounded with turmoil and chaotic situations. Help me to place my confidence in You and not what I see or feel. Supply my needs according to Your Words, help me to look to You for help and not put faith in my bank account, creditors or employer. You are the God that will deliver me from mine enemies, You will lift me up above those that rise up against me.

You can open doors no man can close, and You can close doors no man can open. Every door in my life that needs to be closed, let them be closed. Every door that should be open, make them open. Take the scales off my eyes that I may see clearly in the Spirit, unstop my deaf ears that I may hear You and Your directions. Cleanse my heart that the meditation of my heart will be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.

O my God, I trust in You, let not my enemies triumph over me. I would have fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Plead my cause, O Lord, with them that strive with me, fight against them that fight against me. Help me to cease from anger and to forsake wrath, help me not to do evil to those who have done evil by me. Help me to love them, pray for them and to forgive them as You have forgiven me. Thank You for hearing my prayer, thank You for deliverance, thank You for healing, thank You for reconciliation, thank You for being my Father and my God!
