For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, the everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace – Isaiah 9:6.

God loved the world to the point He gave His only Son for those who would accept His salvation. There is no reason for anyone to die and go to hell when God has made a way of escape through His Son Jesus. Although God loves everyone, that will not keep them from going to hell if that’s what they chose, salvation is given to all through Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

Those who live in this world as unbelievers seem to think they can live a life apart from God. King Solomon one of the wisest and wealthiest men that ever lived tested the world’s view by trying everything in his realm of political power and financial possibility and after an exhaustive search for the meaning of life without God, he decided that “all is vanity” apart from God.  Vanity in Biblical usage means nothingness, emptiness, or chaos rather than the attitude of arrogance or pride associated with the word in English. Emptiness is what many are experiencing and they are trying to fill the void with money, education,  drugs, and people whatever they think will fill the void they will try it only to find themselves just as empty as they were before their experimentation. There is a place in the heart that only God belongs and when we try to fill it with anything else or anyone else it will be voided, indicating ineffective, useless, and empty space.

All have sinned the problem comes about when we continue to live in sin. God gave us a way of escape by sending His only Son to be the redeemer of man. It does not matter whether or not if an individual believes in God, it does not take away from who He is, He’s not God because of them but because of Him. Because God loved us so much and He knew the only way a man could be redeemed was the Son of God would have to redeem them. God sent His Son to die for our sins so that we could be in right standing with God. We were born in sin and lived in sin, but through our acceptation of Jesus as the Son of God and accepting Him as our Savior and Lord, He will give us the power we need to resist sin. We can’t resist sin without the power of God living within our being.

Just as God wanted from Israel, He wants the same from us, He wants us to rend our heart and not our garment. He wants us to split our hearts from the things of the world. If we’re trying to live in the world and live in the spirit it will not happen, we will either love God or love the world. If we love God we will leave the world’s actions and live according to the Word of God, but if we love the world, we will live according to the actions of the world and not love the Father (Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh [physical desire], and the lust of the eyes [personal desires],  and the pride of life [self-interest] is not of the Father, but is of the world – 1st John 2:15:16). Either we’re going to serve God or we will serve Satan, the choice is yours. If we’re going to serve God, then we will have to live by His written instructions, the Bible, and Jesus came to give us the power to do so.

Jesus came to set the captive free, people who are living in sin is not even aware they are living in sin because their eyes have been blinded by Satan and they feel as though they have a relationship with God when in reality they are so far away from Him, they don’t hear Him and He doesn’t hear them. Jesus the Son of God came to give life, He came to redeem man back to God. The Son of God is our Savior, He is our Lord, He is our Advocate, He is our intercessor, and He will be our Judge.
