Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ he hath both the Father and the Son – 2nd John Verse 9.
Christology is the central doctrine of faith, but man changed the doctrine to religion with different denominations, one denomination better than the other. Rather than being in unity, religion has brought division and has empowered Satan to continue to keep people in bondage, and candidates for Hell.
God created man with self-will giving him the choice to follow God’s instructions or their own self-will for their lives as well as who or whom they place their faith in. In the Garden of Eden, God instructed Adam and Eve they could eat from every tree in the Garden except for the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Satan influences Eve to eat the forbidden fruit and Eve influences her husband to eat causing spiritual death for both of them as well as bringing a curse on the earth. Disobedience brought about spiritual and physical death. Their disobedience also opens the door for sin to become ruler through Satan which is the god of this world (In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them – 2nd Corinthians 4:4). Satan influence with non-belief as he did with Adam and Eve or he will influence people to add or take from what God has instructed.
As humans populated the earth, man became more wicked, and because of the wickedness, God sent a flood to destroy the human race except for one man and his family. According to the Bible, Noah was a just man and blameless in his generation, he separated himself from the wickedness of his contemporaries and followed the Lord. His obedience to following God’s instruction saved both him and his family from the flood. The Noahic Covenant involved the dispensation of human government, with humanity governing itself. Men were responsible to govern the world for God. Under it, man’s relationship to the earth and to the order of nature was confirmed, the human government was established, and God promised never again to use a universal flood to judge the world. The failure of man under this dispensation culminated in the building of the tower of Babel and resulted in the judgment of the confusion of tongues.
Generations later, God called a man by the name of Abram to follow His instructions, and His promise was to bless him and his descendent, the nation of Israel. Through Abram who was later called Abraham obedience, all the family of the earth would be blessed through Abraham’s faith and obedience to God. After Abraham’s death, God used a young man by the name of Joseph who was also faithful to serving Him. After Joseph’s death, the Israelites went into bondage because the new king feared the Israelites were more than his people in number, and they would one day join themselves with the king’s enemies. In their bondage, the Israelites begin to serve the gods the Egyptians worshipped. Although God sent leaders like Moses prophets and judges to lead them out of their physical and spiritual bondage, they desired to serve gods that weren’t gods.
From the Israelites until this age, men would rather serve a god other than God because they have been influenced by Satan and because they don’t believe in God nor Satan they stay in bondage. We’re spiritual beings dealing with spirits that have been around for ages, they were with God prior to the creation of the earth. They are powerful, but not powerful than their Creator. Religion can’t defeat these spirits, only by the regeneration of the heart, spirit, and the Word God can these spirits be defeated.
Religion teaches what man thinks is right, it does not teach about the spirit of man, and the God that created it. Religion takes bits and pieces of the Scripture and takes them out of context to make it look appealing. Time is winding up, Satan is on a rampage to get as many as he can to follow him, he uses people, and his ministers as well as his angels to mislead people. There are not as many ways to serve or get to God as they claim there is only one way and it’s through the acceptation of salvation through His Son, Jesus. One also must do more than believe there is a God, but follow the instructions He has given through His written Word. The devils believe there is a God, but they don’t worship or serve Him, and they influence people to do likewise (Thou believes that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble – James 2:19).
If you want to know if there is a God, desire to want to know Him from your heart, and He will reveal Himself to you. Take the time to read and study His Word, follow the instructions, and you will begin to see a change in your heart and spirit. Those people that you hear are fanatics, they have had an encounter with the true God, and they are being changed into His image. They are different, they show mercy, compassion, and love towards all people because their Father loves all people and they are being changed to see people as He sees them. They have been freed from the wrath of God that is about to come upon the earth because they believe in Him and His Son and they live according to God’s instructions.
The next time you desire to read a self-help book, reach for the Bible, it’s the only book that can change your life and heart. Try Him when you have tried everything and everyone, He’s waiting on you to come to Him., and He will turn you away. He will be with you for a lifetime and will walk with you when death comes to direct you to your resting place for eternity!
