Don’t Hear Nothing, But He’s Moving In Your Behalf

Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt – Matthew 15:28.

Sometimes we can’t hear a word from God, no matter how we have prayed and fasted, spoken the Word, rebuked demons, loosing the blood Jesus against the adversary. Although we have done everything we know to do as a believing submitted Christian, we don’t see a change in the circumstance.

There was a Syrophoenician woman who had a daughter that had been vexed with a devil, she came to Jesus crying out to Him to have mercy on her and her daughter, she had faith that He was going to answer her prayer,  but He didn’t answer her ( But He answered her not a word. And His disciples came and  besought [urged] Him, saying, send her away; for she crieth after us – Matthew 15:23).

The disciples asked Jesus to get rid of the woman because she was bothering them with her begging. They had no compassion or sensitivity to her needs. Sometimes, we go through the same thing with our spiritual leaders, they see the need, hear about the need, but they show no mercy or compassion neither minister prayer when it’s needed.

Although you may have been praying for a long time, and the Lord hasn’t answered your prayer, continue to pray and don’t lose faith. You maybe at the door of your break-through, just before a break-through, the problem and circumstances seems to escalate. This is when our prayer has to be escalated, this is when we should begin to reminisce about all the other prayers we prayed, and God answered the prayer. When we continue to pray for the same thing and our prayer hasn’t been answered, but we still have an unction in our spirit to pray for the same thing, continue to pray, faith is being built and the prayer will be answered.

The woman was a Gentile,  she hadn’t been engrafted into the family of God, but she had enough faith to believe that Jesus wasn’t going to allow her to leave without her need being supplied. It doesn’t matter how long one has been a Christian, what matters is,  do we believe that Jesus can and will supply the need?  When Jesus began to talk with the woman, she had an answer, and her answer was demonstrating her faith in Him (Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou [you desire] wilt. And her daughter was made whole [well]  from that very hour –  Matthew 15:28).

Just because God hasn’t said anything, it doesn’t mean, He has left us out. It doesn’t mean the prayer will not be answered, it doesn’t mean we should give up because the prayer hasn’t been answered in the time we thought it should have been answered. Have faith in God, and not the circumstance!
