When we think of power, many envision the miracles of Christ, and those are definitely a manifestation of the power of God, but the power of God is manifested in our lives by our walk. Fly As An Eagle

He giveth power to the faint, and to them that have no might He increaseth strengthen. Even the youth shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall. But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint – Isaiah 40:29-31.

By looking at the lifestyle of an eagle, we can glean valuable lessons that will enable us to soar above any storm of life that comes our way. For example, eagles build their nests on the rocks high atop mountains and from there are well able to weather the elements. Likewise, Christians should build their lives on the “rock” of the Word of God. It’s not enough to just know the Word, but we have to act on the Word of God.

The Offense of Others

For in many things we offend (stumble) all. If any man offend (stumble) not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body – James 3:2.

Perfect means to be mature, maturity indicates when we have offended someone, we’re quick to say I’m sorry for what actions or words we have spoken that offended them, rather than saying ” if I did something to offend you, I’m sorry”.
