The Judgment

A false doctrine is, “Once saved always saved.” If that was a true statement, the Bible wouldn’t tell us to confess our sins so that we can be healed. Salvation comes through our faith in Jesus as being the Son of God and accepting Him as our Savior. Once we accept Him, we must also make Him Lord of our life. Many accept salvation at a time when the Word of God and the conviction of the Holy Spirit open the hearts to reveal to them they need to repent and ask God to save them, the problem is they don’t continue to seek to please Him and that’s when false salvation come into play. Teach Us To Pray

And it came to pass, that as He was praying in a certain place, when He ceased, one of His disciples said unto Him, Lord teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples – Luke 11:1.

Prayer is communication with our Father, when we pray, we should examine ourselves to see where there may have been an area we may have sinned by thought or actions. Examine our actions, did we offend anyone verbally or through our behavior? If we have unforgiveness towards anyone, forgive them and release them before making our request. Read More

Excuses

And another of His disciples said unto Him, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father. But Jesus said unto Him, Follow Me; and let the dead bury their dead  – Matthew 8:21-22.

Following Jesus is not always easy or comfortable. Often it means great cost and sacrifice with no earthly rewards or security. We may find that following Jesus costs you popularity, friendships, leisure time, or treasured habits. While the cost of following Jesus is high, the value of being Jesus’ disciples is even higher.
