Seared Conscience

False teachers were and still are a threat to the church, false teachers refuse to believe that God is the Creator of creation, if an individual hasn’t been grounded in the Word of God, their teachings would greatly distort Christian truth. Jesus and the Apostles have instructed the believer to know them that labor among us, to read and study the Word of God so we would know when the truth has been distorted by unbelievers and false teachers. The Blood Still Works

Jesus came to reconcile us to the Father; the only way He could reconcile us was through the shedding of His blood for our sins. Prior to Jesus’ death, the priest would sacrifice goats and calves for the sins of the people and they would have to repeat the sacrifice often because animal sacrifice could not take away sin, they provided only a temporary way to deal with sin until Jesus came to deal with it permanently.
