Respect Those Who Have Rule Over You
Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you (Hebrews 12:17).
Many are called, but few are chosen that will answer the call God has placed upon their life. Pastors who have been called of God usually never desired to be a pastor, but they excepted the position. True pastors have the heart of God, they are concerned about the sheep God has placed them shepherd over. We should appreciate the gifts God has given us. A true man or woman of God who leads the people according to the Word of God as well as live according to what they teach are under constant attack from Satan and his host as well as those Satan has planted in the congregation.
