The World Is Waiting For You!

Then said he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the laborers are few; Pray ye, therefore, the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth laborers into his harvest – Matthew 9:37-38.

Wouldn’t it be wonderful if life were like a flight simulator; all of the excitement, none of the risk; all of the pleasure, none of the expense, but life is not like that it brings challenges we have to face whether we want to or not.

Many prepare for evangelistic work by attending seminars and conferences, filling their notebooks, listening to sermons and Bible studies. They’re dedicated to gathering knowledge but, as perpetual students, they may never leave the class to practice what they’ve learned, having a head full of knowledge without an understanding. The same goes for many that quote Scriptures, but don’t have the knowledge of what the Scripture really means.

Every Christian has been commissioned to minister to the lost. Ministering is not just behind a pulpit. We minister every day by our lifestyle, our behavior, and our character. Our love and passion toward others, drawing them with loving-kindness and not with a lot of Scriptures, we can’t explain and they don’t understand! If we going to minister by Scripture to the lost then we must know the Scripture (Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needed not be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth – 2nd Timothy 2:15). Get to know God and His Word and He will prepare us when the soul He has prepared for us to minister to we will minister effectively with the Word of God and with love.

First of all, everyone is not going to receive salvation although it’s free because they have and will reject salvation. So our prayer as Christians should be for the Father to lead us to those He has prepared their hearts to receive salvation. In order to draw the lost, we can’t have the same behavior and character as they, there must be a difference between them and the professing Christian. If one has truly received salvation and their heart has been regenerated by the Spirit of God the non-believer will know there is a difference although they might can’t explain what they see and feel when they are in your presence.

The harvest is plentiful, and as Christians, let’s pray and ask the Father for the anointing to win souls. When we’re around non-believes and we’re conversing there is always a way to slip Jesus or your faith in God in the conversation. They will watch us, and as they see our behavior of kindness we’re opening doors for them to ask questions regarding our faith. It will open a door they will feel they can enter without being insulted because of their practicing sin nature. It’s not for us to judge, but to bring people to Christ and He will be the judge, He will be the one to soften their hearts to hear the gospel of Christ when its brought to them with loving-kindness.

As Christians, we should have an ardour in our character and behavior that the non-believer will feel the presence of God in us as they commune with us. They should feel free to come to us when they are in need of prayer or needing someone to talk to. Sometimes just showing love towards them can open a door that will bring new life to them. True Christians have been marked by God and that marks is presence to the none-believer. Let’s keep our focus on God and winning souls for the kingdom of God. All that is going on in the world is not a surprise to God, His Word is unfolding for the coming of our Savior and King!
