But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolators, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death – Revelation 21:8.
Heaven is real, and so is Hell; many believe that people only go to heaven when they die. Some believe that there is nothing after death. The Bible talks about hell and who will go there. It’s a place where there is no exit, and you can’t purchase an exit ticket.
Jesus came from heaven to purchase the world’s sins for those who will accept His salvation. God did not pick or choose who would enter heaven or hell; He gave everyone free will to choose where they will live eternally. God loved the world so much, and there was no other way mankind could be reconciled to God but by the death and resurrection of His Son.
Mankind was not created in evil. He was created in the image of God, meaning he had the characteristic of his Creator (And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth – Genesis 1:26). Man was created in both the image and likeness of God. An image is a representation or replica of one person or thing by another. An image may be similar but not necessarily identical to its original. The term likeness is used as a gauge of comparison or analogy.
When man fell, he retained an impaired image of God; regaining a likeness of God is one of the accomplishments of salvation. Our spiritual likeness is restored in justification. Our character likeness is continuously developed in the process of sanctification.
Sanctification is not a denomination but a lifestyle for Christians. The Holy Spirit and God the Father are active in the sanctification of Christians when they submit themselves to His molding and shaping. Many professing Christians have not gone through the process of sanctification; as soon as tests and trials come, they return to the world’s standard of living.
Some have chosen other doctrines whether than choosing the doctrine of the Bible. The doctrine of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is the only doctrine that will change a person’s heart, therefore, changing their spirit to become like their Creator. Christians have been warned about other doctrines (Whosoever transgresseth and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son – 2nd John Verse 9).
Jesus instructed His followers if they loved Him, they would follow His instructions. He and the Father would come and live in them (Jesus answered, and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words, and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him and make our abode with him – John 14:23). Abode means to dwell which will bring about sanctification in the believer’s life.
Without the preaching of the Word, mankind would be lost forever, so Jesus gave gifts to mankind to teach those that would accept His salvation (And He gave some apostles, and some prophets, and some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers. For the perfecting of the saints for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ – Ephesians 4:11-12). This is one of the reasons why Satan influences people not to attend church or accept other doctrines because he knows once they find the truth, it will set them free from his bondage.
It’s the responsibility of ministers and those who have received salvation to witness to others about salvation when given the opportunity to do so. For our witness as Christians to be effective, we must live according to the Word of God; we must be led by the Spirit of God to who to witness. Everyone is not going to receive salvation. Ask the Father to lead you to those He would have you witness.
Satan’s goal is to keep mankind under his bondage to send them with him to the lake of fire. The gospels of Christ teach about sin, and the Bible teaches about sin and how to avoid going to hell. Satan has blinded the mind of those who don’t believe in God or His Son (But if the gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost. In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ who is the image of God, should shine unto them – 2nd Corinthians 4:3-4). Satan is the god of this world, he has the non-believer and the carnal Christian under his control, and he effectively shields them from gospels and those who would minister to them.
Millions are dying daily, and most of them go to hell because of their rejection of salvation or carnality. The prophet Isaiah stated that hell had enlarged itself (Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure; and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it – Isaiah 5:14). Those that adhere to other doctrines, those that reject salvation, those that profess to be Christians, but live opposite of what the Bible teaches will find themselves in hell without an exit.
Jesus has given everyone a way to escape hell by accepting His salvation (That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart, man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation -Romans 10:9-10). His mouth’s confession does not save one; rather, the mouth testifies readily of the grace of God in Christ, which has been received by faith. All one has to do is ask God to forgive them of their sins and believe in Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection; make a statement with your mouth that you believe, and you receive Jesus’ salvation.
After receiving salvation, find a church that teaches the gospel of Jesus Christ. Read and study the Bible to make sure your lifestyle comes in line with its instructions. Prayer is essential in building a relationship with the Father.
Hellfire is real; if not, it wouldn’t be mentioned in the Bible. God does not wish anyone to perish, so He gave His Son to die for the world’s sins. There is no other way to serve God but by accepting salvation through His Son (He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life – 1st John 5:12).
Hell is a place of torment; the person’s spirit does not die; it’s very much aware of what is happening. The worms don’t die (Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched – Mark 9:44). People that didn’t receive salvation before death is not resting in peace as Satan would have people think. This is why there is preaching and teaching to keep people from entering hell if they will receive the message and adhere to it.
The lake of fire is real, and no one has to go there. God prepared a way of escape through His Son, Jesus.

Lake of Fire
