Judgment At The House of God

For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God – 1st Peter 4:17.

God does not hold the non-believer to be familiar with His written instructions, but He does hold the church, the body of Christ, responsible for knowing and adhering to His instructions.

The Bible was not written for the non-believer but for the Christian to know what the Father expects of them. This is why judgment is going to start in the house of God. Pastors are to admonish congregants to live according to God’s instructions.

The church, the body of Christ, should have knowledge of God’s written instructions, but the majority don’t because they are trying to live two lifestyles, living from the influence and actions of Satan from Monday through Saturday, and living for God on Sunday this will not work, and it’s not acceptable to God.

Every day should be lived as though death was knocking at their door or Jesus was returning. Did you know whatever state death or Jesus finds you in that will determine if you will enter heaven or hell? We want people to be faithful to us, but we don’t want to be faithful to God. This is why judgment is going to start at the church.

Some are saying for those who are trying to live according to God’s Word that it does not take all that; if it didn’t, it wouldn’t have been in His instructions, the Bible. The Bible was written by godly men whom the Holy Spirit inspired to write as God gave them instructions for His people (All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instructions in righteousness. That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished [equipped] unto all good works – 2nd Timothy 3:16-17.

The church has allowed sin to filtrate the church, whereas, in previous years, people who practiced sin didn’t flaunt what they were practicing. Because many professing Christians are practicing what the nonbelievers are practicing, so they think there is nothing wrong with their lifestyle. The power of God is not in many churches because sin is in the camp. The overseers are aware but will not confront it.

What good is it to have large congregants and the majority is hell bound? It’s not about having a large church or a large congregation; it’s about how many will enter heaven because they have been prepared to meet their Creator.

In order to not be conformed to the world’s actions, our minds and hearts must be conformed to God’s instructions; if not, we will condone sin in us and in others (And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable , and perfect will of God – Romans 12:2).

Professing Christians are looking, listening, and going to places Christians should not be entertaining, and they wonder why they are so dry, and some don’t think anything is wrong with what they are doing because their heart and mind have not been conformed to God’s will which is His Word.

Christian conduct in the local church toward fellow believers is to be volitional, caring for others, and loving faithfully in spite of the response received. The love is to be genuine and unfeigned. The Fruit of the Spirit should be on display not only in the church but with our neighbors, co-workers, and schools (But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance, against such there is no law – Galatians 5:22-23).

God can only produce the fruit of the Spirit. For this fruit to develop, all nine aspects of the fruit of the Spirit must mature. It matures to our submission to God, reading and studying His Word, and applying His instructions to our lives daily. Fasting to keep our body and emotions subject to the Spirit of God (But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway – 1st Corinthians 9:27).

God gave us free will, but that free will did not mean for us to live carnal lives; carnality is enmity toward God (Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God – Romans 8:7-8). Our actions, behavior, and character should not be of the world but of our Father.

If the indwelling of the Holy Spirit is indwelling in us, the witness of the Spirit is the inner assurance of God’s truth. One of the conditions of this inner conviction concerning the things of God is obedience to His known will. His will is His Word, and He has made a way that all can understand His will and His Word.

We’re in the book of Revelation; Jesus may return on any day, but when He returns, He is coming for a church without a wrinkle, blemish, or spot; the only way we can live with the requirements is by Jesus residing in hearts, and our submission to God’s written instructions, the Bible.

Jesus came to save the lost; if you’re still living like a non-believer, then you are lost and need to be saved (Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature, old things are passed away, behold, all things are become new – 2nd Corinthians 5:17). God sent His Word in written format, He’s ordained ministers to minister His Word to equip His people to live a godly life.

The mention of sin is not coming over the pulpits, and people are living according to their standards, and their standards do not have the authority as God written Word for our lives. God does not want anyone to perish. That’s why He sent His son. Although He does not want anyone to perish, if we choose to live according to our will and not His will, He will allow us to face judgment.

There is eternal life in heaven or hell (Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord – 1st Thessalonians 4:17). “Remain” means to continue in the doctrine of Jesus and apply the Word daily to our lives. One saved and always saved is a lie; if we don’t adhere to God’s Word, we will find ourselves in hell without an exit!

Whether one is a believer or non-believer, God’s Word will not return to Him void, a blessing to those that submit to His Word (Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ and shall reign with Him a thousand years. – Revelation 20:6). After a thousand years and the Great Tribulation, Christians will live with God for eternity. For those that rejected His written instructions will live in eternity in hell (But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake of fire which burneth with fire and brimstone, which is the second death – Revelation 21:8).

We have been given a choice to determine where we will spend eternity. Don’t play spiritual Russian Roulette!
